TITLE: THE GOD THAT SHOWED HAGAR A WELL WILL SHOW YOU A WAY

Have you ever been in a desert place where all hope seems lost? You have cried, your water is finished, and you think it's over?

That was the story of Hagar.

Sent into the Desert of Beersheba with her son Ishmael, her water bottle finished, she sat down and cried, waiting for her son to die (Genesis 21:15-16). She could not see a way out.

But the Bible says in Genesis 21:17-19:

> _"And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven... and God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water."_

Listen to this! The well was THERE all along, but she could not see it until God opened her eyes.

Child of God, your well is already there. Your way out is already there. You just need God to open your eyes!

The same God who showed Hagar a well in the desert will show YOU a way in your desert.

5 OTHER TIMES GOD MADE A WAY WHERE THERE WAS NO WAY:

1. ISRAEL AT THE RED SEA - Exodus 14:21-22

Pharaoh behind them, Red Sea in front of them, no way to escape. But God sent a strong wind and parted the sea. He made a road in the sea! When men say there is no way, God makes a way.

2. MOSES AND WATER FROM THE ROCK - Exodus 17:6

In the desert, the people were thirsty and ready to stone Moses. God told Moses to strike the rock at Horeb, and water gushed out. God can bring water out of your hardest rock situation.

3. THE THREE HEBREW BOYS IN THE FIRE - Daniel 3:24-25

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were thrown into fire, but God showed up as the fourth man in the fire. He didn't stop the fire, He joined them IN the fire. Your fire will not consume you.

4. PAUL AND SILAS IN PRISON - Acts 16:26

Locked in chains at midnight, they prayed and sang. Suddenly, an earthquake shook the prison and doors opened. God still opens prison doors at midnight.

5. JESUS FEEDING 5000 MEN - Matthew 14:19-20

Only 5 loaves and 2 fish, but Jesus lifted them up and fed a multitude. When what you have is not enough, put it in Jesus' hands. He will make it more than enough.

YOUR PRAYER TODAY:

Father, in the name of Jesus, like You opened Hagar's eyes to see a well, open my eyes today. Show me the way, show me the connection, show me the opportunity You have already placed around me. The angel has been sent, the well is near, I will not die in this desert. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen!

*Remember this:*

The well was not created that day. It was already there. God only opened her eyes.

Your healing, your job, your husband/wife, your breakthrough - it is already around you. God is about to open your eyes to see it!

*Declare this:* _My eyes are open, I see my well in Jesus' name!_
